The Same Me –
in Session & in Life
When you meet with me, what you see is what you get. I show up with warmth, honesty, and curiosity — the same way I live outside of session.
Therapy with me isn’t about hiding behind a professional mask; it’s about bringing my full self so you can feel safe bringing yours.
Clients often describe me as grounded yet creative, gentle but direct.
You’ll find laughter and realness in our work, alongside the depth and structure needed to move you forward.
The Heart of My Work
At 5 for 8 Counseling & Consulting, three values shape everything I do:
Grace
Healing is never a straight line. I believe in holding space for both progress and setbacks, offering compassion as you grow.
Creativity
Identity isn’t just explored through conversation — it’s also discovered through expression.
I integrate creativity into the work by using tools like reflection, storytelling, writing, and guided imagery to help you see yourself in new ways.
These approaches invite deeper insight, unlock self-understanding, and allow you to shape your identity with both clarity and imagination.
Authenticity
I bring honesty and realness into the room, so you never have to wonder if you’re showing up “the right way.”
This is a space where your whole story is welcome. Together, we’ll sort through what belongs to you and what doesn’t, so you can move forward aligned with your truest self.
The knowledge
I carry
My work is built on both professional training and lived wisdom. Clinically, I draw from narrative therapy, post-traumatic growth research, and identity development principles. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with experience supporting individuals through depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and major life transitions.
Beyond credentials, I carry a deep understanding of what it means to rebuild. I believe identity is not something we “fix” but something we continually uncover. My role is to bring both expertise and empathy — so you have the tools, insight, and clarity to step into your next chapter with confidence.
